WILTON MANORS CONTEMPORARY ARTIST

Original Acrylic Paintings by Chris Cornell

Wilton Manors has long been recognized as one of the most vibrant, welcoming, and creative communities in South Florida. Known for its thriving arts scene, diverse culture, and strong support of local artists, the city provides a unique environment where creativity and self-expression are celebrated.

As a contemporary artist based just minutes away in Oakland Park, I have had the opportunity to exhibit work, attend events, and connect with collectors throughout Wilton Manors and the surrounding South Florida community. The openness, individuality, and creative energy of the city continue to influence my artistic perspective and the themes explored throughout my work.

My paintings explore identity, confidence, nostalgia, memory, and modern culture through original acrylic paintings that combine portraiture, abstraction, pop culture influences, and glitch-inspired visual techniques.

ART, IDENTITY, AND SELF-EXPRESSION

Many of my paintings focus on questions surrounding identity and authenticity.

Who are we when no one is watching?

How do we present ourselves to others?

How does confidence shape our experiences and relationships?

These questions often appear throughout my work and resonate strongly with collectors who appreciate artwork that encourages reflection and conversation.

The culture of Wilton Manors embraces individuality and self-expression, making it a natural environment for contemporary artwork that explores personal narratives and emotional experiences.

Nostalgia and Pop Culture

Pieces including Screen Siren and Pop Princess investigate how collective memory and cultural icons continue to influence modern identity.

WHY COLLECTORS IN WILTON MANORS CONNECT WITH ORIGINAL ART

Original artwork provides something that cannot be duplicated by mass-produced décor.

Each painting represents a unique creative process, personal perspective, and moment in time. For many collectors, artwork becomes a reflection of their own experiences, values, and identity.

The strongest collections are built around connection rather than trends.

Collectors throughout Wilton Manors often seek artwork that feels authentic, contemporary, and emotionally meaningful. These values align closely with the goals that guide my creative practice.

COMMISSIONS

I accept a limited number of commissions each year.

Whether you are looking for a bold contemporary portrait, a colorful abstract statement piece, or artwork designed specifically for your home or office, commissions provide an opportunity to create something entirely unique.

Each commission is developed collaboratively and tailored to the collector's vision, space, and goals.
